First of all, three almost identical instrumental recordings of the Welsh National Anthem, played by the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, and recorded on to cassette tape in the 1970s.

The first one is digitised as recorded.

The second and third are transposed electronically using digital techniques, respectively down one semitone, and down two semitones. We should make a decision which to use, and then practice with that one. I favour the third one, down two semitones.

[SND] CD1 Track 1 Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau (as recorded, 1.2M )
[SND] CD1 Track 2 Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau (digitally lowered one semi-tone, 1.2M )
[SND] CD1 Track 3 Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau (digitally lowered two semitones, 1.2M )

Here are three singalong tracks for the three songs we are initially considering. The arrangement for "Sosban Fach" is how I would like to see us doing it, with three lots of "ooooos".

All through the Night - because of the more likely familiarity of the audience with the piece, I would suggest we sing the first verse in English, and then repeat it in Welsh.

I think Myfannwy probably should be done straight.

Because of the relative short duration of each of the songs, I think we could well look at my suggested "option" of "We'll Keep a Welcome" as an "encore".

[SND] CD1 Track 4 Sosban Fach) (Treorchy MVC, 2.9M )
[SND] CD1 Track 5 Myfannwy (Morriston MVC, 2.2M )
This Myfannwy replaces the original, but isn't on the original CD.
[SND] CD1 Track 5 Myfannwy (Caerffili MVC, 2.2M )
This older Myfannwy is a bad recording; it has now been replaced; was something to use initially
[SND] CD1 Track 6 Ar Hyd y Nos (Treorchy MVC, sung in English, 2.3M )

The contents of CD1 are shown here... with the Welsh Words in text file (for now) below it.
